Furniture deliveries to the Swiss specialized trade.

Thanks to the central location of our distribution center in Switzerland, we can reach any destination within a reasonable amount of time and driving time. Suppliers can thus deliver to the midlands themselves and bring the goods to our logistics center for the more distant delivery locations. In this way, many unnecessary HVF kilometer charges can be saved.

With our modern fleet we are able to offer you a suitable and optimal transport solution for every task.

Our weekly schedule, which has been in place for over 45 years, makes it easier for you to plan with your customers and delivery dates can be announced well in advance.
The furniture, which is delivered to us from all over Europe, is shipped to the corresponding regions in a concentrated and environmentally friendly manner. No delivery without prior notification.

Would you like to have furniture, cardboard boxes or even small removals transported anywhere in Switzerland? No problem, we will do it for you.
Since all our vehicles are specially equipped for furniture transport, you do not need to pack your furniture separately.

Vehicle park

Our modern fleet of vehicles is used exclusively for furniture transportation.
All vehicles are equipped with a navigation system. The padded slatted crates on the walls, the air-suspended vehicles, the always carried wool blankets, ribbons, and the wooden floor guarantee a gentle transport of your furniture.
Various types and sizes of Mercedes Benz are available and are used accordingly to the tour and goods. All vehicles over 3.5 tons are equipped with a lifting platform.

Moving checklist

This useful checklist serves as a guide before, during and after your move. Put this document in a visible place for the next few weeks and cross off all the items you have completed. This will guarantee that you can plan and carry out your move calmly and safely.

• Carefully review new lease (possibly by a professional).
• Terminate old lease in due time and form, but not until a new one is in place.
• In the case of new buildings, talk to the administration to determine the final finish (wall-to-wall carpeting, paint, electrical outlets, antenna and telephone connections).
• Report damage to the apartment to the administration and the liability insurance company at an early stage.
• Prepare furniture layout plan.
• Discuss purchase or sale of existing furnishings with all parties involved as well as with administration and draw up written agreement on liability.
• Request legal moving day (minimum 1 day) at work.
• Hire moving company. Have the order and the exact date confirmed in writing.
• Move yourself: Hire suitable helpers. Book a suitable rental car (especially early if moving on a popular date).
• Hire a cleaning company. Have the order and the exact date confirmed in writing.
• Clean yourself: Hire suitable helpers.
• Have items in need of repair delivered to the new address.
• Waste: Clear out the apartment, adjoining rooms, garden; organize collection. Tidy up garden where this duty is stipulated by contract.
• School: inform old and new school authorities (kindergarten) about planned move; discuss possible transition problems.

Prepare for the move in good time. We will assist you with this important task. Below we have compiled a checklist for you:

Tips at a glance

From careful and correct packing you profit several times on moving day: On the one hand, your moving goods are optimally protected. And on the other hand, you save time and money, because the moving crew can work efficiently.

Our suggestions from practice:

• Order sufficient packing material
• Pack and label dispensable items such as books, CDs and records; table or bed linen seasonal clothes, wine storage, etc., well ahead of time
• Do not overload moving boxes so they are still easy to carry
• Pack fragile goods (bottles, glasses) in a padded way and label them visibly
• Pack clothes in special wardrobe boxes with a hanging device so that you do not have to iron them after the move.
• Do not use newsprint when packing: It blackens
• Protect delicate items additionally with bubble wrap
• Label packed boxes with "destination/room" in the new apartment
• Do not fill drawers of chests of drawers and cupboards with household goods.
• Pack valuables and documents separately and transport them personally.
• Organize babysitters (possibly grandparents) to look after the children (if available) on moving day.
• Do not use garbage bags for packing to avoid confusion with garbage.

**Storage

Are you going away for an extended period of time or do you want to temporarily store your furniture or all of your household goods for some reason? No problem.

With us you have the choice between different container sizes, in which we store your goods safely, protected and dry in a climate-controlled room.
You can do the storage yourself or have it done by our specialized staff. We are also happy to pick up the furniture / household goods from you.
Of course you have access to your goods after consultation.

Clearances

Do you have a complete house/apartment or a part of it to clear, we will gladly do this for you.
We take everything, be it wood, iron, paper or chemicals. Simply everything that accumulates in a household over the years. These goods are then professionally separated and disposed of by us.
The items that are in good condition and still usable are given to the BrockiShop of the Blue Cross.

In the basement of the company Gyger Transmöbel AG is the BrockiShop Aarau-West of the Blue Cross on over 1000 m².
The company Gyger Transmöbel AG disposes in case of a move or clearance everything you don't want anymore. Still usable things, from which you separate, we hand over for a good purpose to the BrockiShop.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 10.00 - 11.45 and 13.30 - 18.00 o'clock

Saturday 10.00 - 16.00 open throughout the day.
